When August heard that Simon had named the bird Tweet, he was a little "put out". He felt that when it came to naming things he took a back scat to no man (or boy, even his own). After all, August felt, hadn't he done a darn good job naming the dog- "Spot"? And hadn't he suggested tl@e name "Gobble Gobble" for their pet turkey? But Simon stood his ground-the bird's name was Tweet. Mame Orange (who was always reading) felt that Svetlana was a beautiful name for a Barn Swallow.
