Cloaks

Back in the good old days a cloack, of some kind or other, was worn by everybody. No mater what their station in life when it got colder at night more layers of garb were worn. Cloak are quick, efective, ajustable, variable, and in the best cases they seat two or more. As early period garb they came in several simple styles, all of wich are easy to make. I discuss cloaks at length in my Sewing Site. However for your garb we need to talk about the meriade or three accssesories you'll have to have. Add ons like a hood which was not oftan if ever atached to the cloak

Remember back then the only way to stay warm was to layer your garb (no it's not a new idea) and a cloak is a great way to keep the weather away.
