Framed Entry

Uses -
In larger buildings where closure from the inside is required. Screen-house, greenhouse; makes relatively narrow door; can swing in or Out.

    Materials
  • 2 x 4 framing lumber
  • 2 x 2 Door materials or 3/4" boards or plywood
  • 1 x 2 Door Stops
  • 2 Hinges, 1 Hasp.

Option #2 -
Center Opening

Uses -
Wide access, Storage buildings.

    Materials
  • 1/2" Plywood or 3/4" boards
  • 1 x 2 Door stops
  • 1 a 4 Decorative trim
  • 4 Hinges, 2 hooks & eyes, 1 handle
  • Galvanized nails

Option #3 -
Ramp Door

Uses -
Good access, easy to make (same size as inset panels) must be reinforced for strength.

    Materials
  • 5/8" or 3/4" plywood or 3/4" boards
  • 1 x 4 Trim & reinforcement
  • I x 2 Door stops
  • 3 Hinges. 1 hasp
Option #4 -
Square Front

Uses -
Widest access; accommodates standard doors, good for carports, attaching to other vertical walls - must be well anchored.

    Materials
  • 2 x 4 Framing lumber
  • (2) 2 x 6 Spacer/nailers
  • Door materials (not Shown)
