Tempus Peregrinator's Weeb Page is were all my stuff related to the Society for Creative Anachronism can be found. It's a hub for mediaeval and Renaissance stuff, mostly European, there is some stuff about Kimono and
Tempus Peregrinator's Little SCA Site, the Society for Creative Anachronism is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to re-creating the best of the Mediaeval and Renaissance eras (600 C.E. to 1600 C.E.) We study and enjoy various arts and sciences, of the time, such as history, culture, music, dance, mock combat, archery, armouring, heraldry, embroidery, costuming, calligraphy, food & drink, and many more.
Tempus' Little Heraldry Book An overview of Heraldry, the history and elements of I set it up so people could get their hands on the elements they meed to draw coats of arms, It is historic and covers more than the SCA will allow
Tempus' History of Garb Weeb Site, this is mostly a hub for all the other weeb sites that have to do with various historic garb, garments or time periods
Tempus' Early Period Garb Weeb Site, there was a long period before the cotehardie and tailoring when people still whore clothes of beauty. This site looks at the clothing of mediaeval European up to around 1300 with the bliaud and how to make them today
The Cotehardie & Houppelande Homepage, these two garments are the first two really amazing specific garments in Europe. The Cotehardie, the first tailored garment and the houpelande, rising after the bubonic plague around 1350 marking the hight of conspicuous consumption
The Real Landsknechte Homepage, the Landsknechte whore the most garish and gaudy clothes and I love it. Looks at the clothing of the high Renaissance with an emphasis on the clothing of the Landsknecht
Tempus Peregrinator's Elizabethan Garb Weeb Site After eighteenth century Garb, the Clothing of the Elizabethan era is love of mine. I've made several outfits for myself, and a few for others. The look of the cloths from this time are just
Tempus Peregrinator's Kimono Weeb Site
Torf's Great Kilt Weeb Site, this is my Dad's little booklet about how to fold, wear and store a Great Kilt, this site is that booklet.
The Eighteenth Century Garb Homepage, the first cloths I made myself were modeled after eighteenth century European cloths, primarily men's fashions from 1700 to 1750. I feel that men's fashion reached it's height in 1742. SO this site looks at mostly men's cloths of eighteenth century Europe.
Tempus' Sewing & Garb Accessories Weeb Site, I've been sewing for decades and I've learned a lot of cool stuff which I'd like to share with others. I've got all these weeb sites about clothing history it didn't seam like much of a jump to make another about sewing. Concentrating mostly at cloaks, shirts, pants, hats, shoes, sleeves, and also some sewing techniques.
Ragnar Torfason's Weeb Page is about me, it's the man behind the screen section of The Weeb Site. There is a little book section which is mostly about the greatest science fiction short story writer ever, Cordwainer Smith, and some of my other favorite literary works.
Ragnar's HO Model Trains Weeb Site, my favorite hobby right now is model HO trains. I started in the hobby in 2000 but I had been fascinated by track since the 80s. I'm still mostly in to the tracks and don't car much about sceenicing my layout, though I like many of the buildings and I love bridges. This site is kind of an amalgamation of history of the real train stuff and handy modeling stuff.
Ragnar's Eco-Cabin Weeb Site is about this cabin my mom and I are building and a few outbuildings. Mom had dreamed about having this cabin for 25 years, then I was able to build this dream and so we did. In 2005 July it was hit by lightning and bunt down, but we are rebuilding.
Pete Bastiansen's Comicbooks Weeb Site, these are three little 28 page comicbooks printed to sell or advertize a drink mix. I've never seen them any wear else, and I figure they're so cute that I put them on the web. So I hope you may enjoy and maybe recall, The Adventures of Baron Von Lemon, Crash Orange & the Sir Reginald Lime-Lime Story.
The Renaissance Man's Weeb Page is a hub for the more academic history, philosophy and Science stuff in The Weeb Site. Also all the artsy stuff like the things about making musical instruments and art interests. Is, or perhaps was, were I
The Renaissance Man's Sneakers Weeb Site, I like Sneakers they're cool. I think athletic footwear are really fascinating, with an interesting history and remarkable socio-cultural position in our world, so this site is about sneakers stuff.
The Renaissance Man's Polyhedron Weeb Site, This is some cool stuff.
Ragnar's Aliens Weeb Site, I'm amazed by life and I can't accept that this planet is the only place in the universe were things live. I'm vexed by the common view that aliens are "bad" so this site is not about abductions and anal probes. To me aliens are just people who are from away, a long way away like outer space. I've got another site about living and traveling in space.
Ragnar's Space Ship Weeb Site, outer space is big, really big, but the space on our planet is really limited. This site looks at what we can do to live in the space we have and move out into the space before us. Also I think Space Ships are just so cool:o)
