Kings Landing Historical Settlement is a large museum, not the traditional kind, a special kind of museum - an outdoor living history museum. Kings Landing Historical Settlement recreates life of the nineteenth centuy in a way that entertains visitors of all ages. Step back in time when people and the community worked together to survive. More than a hundred costumed interpretors bring to life all the chores, the entertainment and the lifestyle of the pioneers to the area in historic homes, farms, mills, school church and factory. The restored homes, each architecturally significant to the area are filled with antiques. Kings Landing has more than 65,000 artifacts that illustrate life in the Valley from 1790 to 1910. The setting on the banks of the St. John River is breathtakingly picturesque. It's an easy history lesson. Kings Landing is twenty minutes west of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, exit 259, on Route 2, Trans Canada Highway.
