This is the Scherzer Rolling Lift Bridge in Smiths Falls, Ontario, Canada. This beautiful bridge crosses the Rideau Canal south of the Locks. The bridge has been declared a National historic site, though sadly there is no installed plaque. Privately owned, there is a danger the bridge may be torn down. Because of my lack of faith
