David Sarvis, illustrated a really nice old book. The book is Historic Costume for the Stage, written by Lucy Barton, published in 1935-8, by Walter H. Baker Company of Boston. It's an around 600 page book with an green cover. I have two copies and both are in excelent condition (niether is for sale) This book is very special to me for it is the first clothing history book that inspired me to do more than just look at the books. This was the book that started me on my interest in clothing history.
